Okay, so. I woke up at like 6am on Friday morning due to a. my excitement, b. my dog hogging my bed, and c. my mom being extremely loud as she stumbled through the house. I had gotten about 3 hours of sleep so I was really tired, but still in that state where I was incredibly hyper. I went to the gas station to fill up the tank of the Taurus and ran into Katy's (my best friend) dad, who was like, "WHY ARE YOU AWAKE!!! IT IS NOT NOON YET!!!" I laughed, told him I couldn't sleep because it was Harry Potter Day!, and came home, but not before buying an incredibly large Double Mint Cappuchino for an added hyperness that only intensifies after taking 3 No Doz.

At about noon, ericalynnnn rolled up to my house. I thought it was going to be really awkward, but it wasn't too bad. I met her outside and gave her a hug (for merrylives15!) and showed her around inside. After that, we went to my work, The Ten Spot, for lunch (pizza buffets rule). Erica got to meet my manager and both owners because they were all there randomly and stopped to talk and ridicule us for being Harry Potter nerds. WHATEVER, THEY ARE JUST JEALOUS. Although I know I will feel the wrath of their "humor" at work on Thursday because they are big tools (I still heart them, however).

After lunch, I showed her around Culver and took her partway around the lake, where all of the millionaires live. The houses on the lake are amazing, so it's pretty much a crime if you don't get to experience that when you are in town. On the way out of Culver, Black Eyed Peas' new song came on, and we danced and sang loudly (mostly me). It was a good time.

Then I showed her the pole I hit back in May. And we stopped at Liz's house since it was right across the street. We walked around her house, looking for Liz, but she wasn't home so I left a note and took Erica out back by the lake to see Beepers. After we left Liz's, we stopped by Alleigh's (my cousin) house to say hello to her, where we picked up a postcard with random hot boys on it, whom undoubtedly are still in high school yet are pretty much really hot and not wearing shirts. Yesssssss.

Finally we made our way back into town and stopped at Walmart. We meandered around there for awhile, buying snacks for HBP time and the t-shirts we'd need later on during the day. While looking for food to buy, we stumbled upon the string cheese. We had two choices: extra calcium for kids or just regular, both being $2.50 and having 12 sticks in it. All of a sudden, in a Napoleon Dynamite voice, Erica was like, "we're not babies." I pretty much lost it and straight up started laughing uncontrollably loud for about two minutes. It ruled life.

When we went to go check out and buy all of our purchases, Erica had the HARDEST time ever trying to scan in one of the pairs of flip flops we were getting. It was hilarious because she was like, "omfg why is this being dumb!!!" and then I took it, pressed a button, and got it in real fast. It was very amusing, no doubt.

After that, we went down the street to Jo Ann Fabric's to buy paint and whatnot. We were in there for-freaking-ever because it was so lame. They didn't have what we wanted, so we had to make do with what they had and by extras of everything so we wouldn't run out. During all of this time, it looked as though it was going to rain, which sucked because ugh. Me + storms = pretty much death. Luckily it didn't storm too bad, so it's okay.

Anyhootles, so then we just walked down the strip and stopped in Karma (music store) to say hi to one of my friends and then went into the bookstore to get the lowdown on the happenings later on that evening. After that, we just came back to my house and began making our two flipping sweet t-shirts a piece, while watching both the 2nd and 3rd volumes of Jackass. Heck yes.

After we finished making our shirts, we got around and headed up to South Bend for dinner at Hacienda. We were going to have to wait for at least 45 minutes to be seated until I realized we were both 21 and could sit in the Cantina (the bar for you non-spanish-speaking folk). So we got to sit down right away and ate faster than people who came in before us and were waiting to be seated. It rocked. After that, we went to Target so I could buy some new sunglasses. Yes.

Then we decided we had a lot of time to waste so we went to the movies and saw Wedding Crashers, which was freaking hilarious, and I most definitely recommend it. I kept getting antsy throughout the movie and would look at my watch, giggle silently, and be like, "lol two hours!!!" etc.

Finally the movie finished, and we raced back home. Yes, I love speeding. When we got back to my house, we ran inside, changed into our sweet Slytherin shirts, grabbed a few decks of cards, and headed out to the bookstore. When we got there, we were probably about 4th or 5th in line, if you count entire families as one person. I tried getting the "crowd" pumped up and was like, "YES HARRY POTTER RULES WHAT DO YOU THINK" but they all just sat there and stared blankly at me. And then they boo'd us because we were wearing Slytherin shirts. This one little girl was like, "yeah right I'm a Gryffindor" and I was like, "ok Hufflepuff, no need to lie." It ruled. There was this big douche standing behind us who kept hitting on Erica. AHAHAHA IT WAS HILARIOUS BECAUSE HE WAS SUCH A FREAKING IDIOT. God, I love life.

Anyway, we sat down and played Speed until the lights went out, and we were forced to play War by the lack of light. Annie (another best friend) came, so I went and talked to her, and after that we had to fill out pieces of paper and whatnot. Then like, this Dumbledore and this little Harry came and went inside, and everyone got excited and started getting closer together by the front door. At like, just about midnight, they opened the doors, and we got our books within two minutes probably. They were having refreshments and movies and whatnot there, but we decided we'd just rather read so we left. As we walked past the rest of the crowd, Annie was like, "AMY WHAT THE HECK IS DRACO'S MOM'S NAME, I CAN'T THINK OF IT!" And I was like, "Narcissa" without even blinking, and Josh (Annie's boyfriend) was like, "God do you even have to think about it?" And I was like, "yeah right." It ruled. Anyway, then we ran back to the car where we screamed and stuff. I drove home, but I was like shaking and freaking out so it was the longest drive of my life basically.

When I pulled into the driveway, we took off running into the house where we jumped around and screamed a bit more, changed into pajamas, got snacks, and settled down to read. After every chapter we totally stopped to talk about it (except for that one time when something horrible happened, and I ran into my room crying, and I jumped in my bed and curled myself down into the bottom of my covers for about five minutes while I sobbed) until we got to about chapter 26 or so. I was a bit ahead of Erica at that point and didn't want to stop reading so I was like, "UM LET'S JUST KEEP READING." So yeah. At the end, I just closed it and sat there. It was intense.

After that we went to bed.




This was outside of The Ten Spot. Earlier in the summer, Erica sent me a package, and this hot stud Draco was in it. I carry him in my purse (I'm cool) so I took a picture of him standing on the ledge. ♥

We were sitting down to play some card games, and I opened one of the decks of cards and like, I don't know. They were really strange and had really odd pictures on them which scared me. So yes.
